At the clinic, patients are seen by a Mater Private Cardiologist who will assess symptoms and discuss which diagnostic tests may be required to complete the clinical assessment. Cardiac testing & imaging is used to assess how well your heart is working or coping with stress. Your Consultant will determine the most appropriate tests and scans needed to fully assess your condition; this may include some of the following:
- ECG - Electrocardiogram
- Echo – Echocardiogram Stress Test
- Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Holter Monitor
- Cardiac MRI – Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Additional tests such as a CTCA/ CTA (CT Coronary Angiogram) may be arranged at another Mater Private facility if required.
