Mater Private Network Introduces Advanced ERCP Procedure at Dublin Hospital

Mater Private Network is pleased to announce the launch of a new Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) service, now available on site at its Dublin hospital under the expert care of Dr. Rahim Khan, Ireland's only full-time private consultant performing this highly specialised procedure.

ERCP is a complex and minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the bile ducts, such as bile duct stones, pancreatitis, bile duct strictures, jaundice, and tumours. This innovative procedure combines endoscopy and fluoroscopy to examine the bile ducts and perform necessary therapeutic actions.

Mater Private Network is one of the few centres in Ireland providing ERCP, enhancing the hospital’s ability to offer high-acuity, high-complexity procedures to patients. Dr. Rahim Khan, supported by a highly trained and experienced clinical team, brings exceptional expertise to this service to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
