Mater Private Network’s health screening services provide a snapshot of your overall health; identify any risk factors and allow you to put in place a plan to best prevent any future health issues.  

Our screenings focus on various aspects of your health. Physical examination, a full blood analysis and a range of other tests are available as part of our process and, if necessary, vascular screening, a stress test, a DEXA scan, and other tests will also be available. 

We have over 30 years’ experience, our service is a designated partner for Visa medicals for Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It is also a designated partner for Aeromedicals for those who are seeking pilot licences from the Irish Aviation Authority.

Why are screenings important? 

A health screening is used to check that some of your body's most important systems are all functioning correctly. Most importantly, they can detect potential problems before they do real damage. 

Heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and some forms of dementia are common health conditions that will affect many of us throughout our lives. HealthCheck is eligible for tax relief. Log on to www.revenue.ie for a Med 1 form and information on how to claim.  

Some insurance companies reimburse their members for HealthCheck – please check regarding your own personal plan with your specific insurance provider.
