At Mater Private Network Dublin each visit to the Emergency Department starts with assessment by an Emergency Department Consultant. Depending on your condition, tests or treatment may be required; in other cases, admission for hospital-based care might be recommended. At each step you will be advised of the Emergency Department consultants’ recommendations and any related costs, so that you can decide if you want to continue with your care.

Emergency Department attendance and discharge on the day from Mater Private Network Dublin

• Credit/debit card details will be taken at registration and the initial €250 fee charged. 
• The final bill will be issued once treatment is complete, for balance payment.
• Where additional consultation is required by a specialist, other than the Emergency Department doctors, a separate charge of €250 will be billed.

• Some insured patients may have no further costs relating to admission; others will have an excess/shortfall amount on their plan. 
• Your level of cover will be verified. Our team will take you through the costs before confirming your admission.
