We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical specialist radiographer / radiation protection officer to join our expanding team and contribute to our multi-site operations. 

Purpose of post

The general X-ray clinical specialist radiographer / radiation protection officer will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality radiographic services across our multiple locations. This dual role encompasses both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of radiation safety protocols. You will play a crucial role in quality assurance, staff development, and training, as well as service planning, coordinating, and managing radiation safety resources within the department.

Essential skills & knowledge

• Bachelor of Radiography or equivalent
• CORU registration
• Minimum 6 years of clinical experience in radiography, with proven leadership responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, implement change, and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Radiation Safety (desirable)
