Mater Private Network's anaesthetic department is renowned for its consultant-led service, ensuring patients receive the highest level of expertise during their procedures. As an anaesthetic registrar, you'll play a vital role in this exceptional care team, assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive anaesthetic service across our facilities. This includes:

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Providing critical care support to ensure patient well-being.
  • Operating theatres: Collaborating with surgeons to deliver safe and effective anaesthesia for a wide range of procedures.
  • Wards: Monitoring and managing patients' pain and other needs before, during, and after their surgical journeys.

Candidate requirements

  • Current relevant full Irish Medical Council Registration.
  • Experience at registrar level in an acute hospital setting.
  • Proven ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
