About

Education & Experience 

Dr. Gerard Lambe is a consultant radiologist at Mater University Hospital and Mater Private Network, Dublin. He graduated from University College Dublin in 2013 and completed his radiology training in St. James's Hospital and with the Faculty of Radiologists at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed subspecialist fellowship training in Neuroradiology in The Austin Hospital in Melbourne. He then completed a fellowship in thoracic and abdominal imaging in The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He has a master's degree in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He has been actively involved in research and audit in many areas of radiology and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. He joined Mater Private Network in 2024.

Special Interests 

Since returning to Ireland, his areas of interest are neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, and body imaging, including image-guided biopsies and therapeutic interventions. He is passionate about education and is regularly involved in the training of future radiologists.
